In a swift turn of events following recent agitation, the University has officially released a revised academic calendar—a direct outcome of the Students’ Union’s proactive engagement with the school management.
Just weeks ago, on 13th April, the Students’ Union held an emergency meeting with the Vice Chancellor, strongly advocating for a shortened semester to ease the academic pressure on students. Fast forward to 30th April, after a critical Senate meeting, that advocacy has paid off.
So, what’s changing—and how does it affect students?
Key Changes You Should Know:
-
Written Examinations will now begin on 5th May and wrap up on 17th May.
-
E-Exams will commence immediately after the E-Tests, eliminating the usual long wait between assessments.
This adjustment is a direct result of the Union’s insistence on minimizing the time students spend on campus while still ensuring academic quality.
“The Divine-led administration has stayed true to its word,” the Union said, reaffirming its dedication to student welfare and academic progress.
What Does This Mean for You?
This revised calendar is more than just a schedule—it’s a sign of what student representation can accomplish. With exams now closer than ever, students are advised to begin intense preparation and take advantage of the limited time left.
