England international Harry Kane has won the first major trophy of his professional career after Bayern Munich secured the 2024–25 Bundesliga title.

The German giants were confirmed champions on Saturday, May 4, following Bayer Leverkusen’s 2–2 draw with Freiburg, which left them unable to catch Bayern in the standings. Bayern had drawn 3–3 with RB Leipzig the previous day.

Kane, who missed the Leipzig match due to suspension, joined his teammates in celebrations after the title was confirmed. The 31-year-old striker had previously endured multiple near-misses in his career, including with Tottenham Hotspur and the England national team, but had never lifted a trophy — until now.

This marks a significant milestone for Kane, who joined Bayern in the summer of 2023 in search of silverware. He played a key role in their title-winning season, finishing as the Bundesliga’s top scorer with 36 goals.

The official trophy presentation took place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Allianz Arena during Bayern’s final home game of the season against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The occasion also served as a farewell appearance for Bayern legend Thomas Müller, who made his final home appearance for the club.

This Bundesliga title ends Kane’s long wait for a major honour, capping off a dominant domestic campaign under manager Vincent Kompany.
